Admission Cancellation Policy:<\/h1>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t

Once admitted to any program at SIMS Swabi, students are obligated to complete their studies at the institute. They are required to sign an affidavit to this effect at the time of admission. After the admission deadline, should a student wish to cancel their enrollment to join another institute or due to any other legal reason, they must pay the entire course fee to the institute. Failure to do so could result in their original documents being withheld and the matter being taken to court.<\/p>

Migration Policy:<\/strong><\/p>

\u00a0<\/strong>Migration is allowed only under the following conditions:<\/p>

  • Migration must occur between recognized public sector medical colleges or institutes. Migration to or from a private medical college or institute to KMU will not be processed.<\/li>
  • Mutual migration is not permitted.<\/li>
  • Migration is dependent on the availability of a vacant seat in the corresponding class, not exceeding the total permissible strength of the college or institute.<\/li>
  • All migration requests must be routed through the head of the respective college or institution.<\/li>
  • A No Objection Certificate (NOC) is required from the principals of both the original and receiving institutions before final approval by the Vice Chancellor, KMU.<\/li>
  • The migration fee, payable to the KMU account, is Rs.50,000 for students seeking migration within the province and Rs.100,000 for students migrating from other provinces or abroad.<\/li>
  • Migrating students must settle all dues at their original college if they studied there for more than six months.<\/li>
  • Fees should be paid to the college or institution where migration is sought.<\/li>
  • Eligibility for Examination:<\/li>
  • According to The Khyber Medical University Examinations Regulations, 2017, a student is eligible to appear for a professional examination if:<\/li>
  • They have passed all subjects in the previous examination.<\/li>
  • They have completed the required theoretical, practical courses, clinical training, and demonstrations to the satisfaction of the department.<\/li>
  • They have attended at least 75% of lectures, demonstrations, tutorials, and practical\/clinical work in both in-patient and out-patient departments during the academic session.<\/li>
  • Their name has been submitted to the Controller of Examination, KMU by the Principal on clearance by the Head of Institute\/teacher concerned.<\/li>
  • They have paid the examination fees to the KMU and have cleared all college\/hostel dues.<\/li>
  • They have not exceeded the maximum of FOUR attempts to clear the First Allied Health Sciences Examination. Failure to pass within these attempts will result in removal from the college and being considered ineligible for Allied Health Sciences studies nationwide.<\/li>
  • They produce a clearance certificate from the college cashier, hostel warden, and college librarian.<\/li>
  • Other important regulations include:<\/li>
  • A student who fails part of the exam and skips two consecutive opportunities will have to retake the entire exam.<\/li>
  • A student failing either the theory or practical portion of a subject must retake both sections.<\/li>
  • A failing student must attend lectures and practical courses with the subsequent class.<\/li>
  • Students who are eligible but choose not to take an examination will be considered as having failed.<\/li>
  • Students discontinuing their studies for five years or more will not be readmitted. If readmission is sought before this period, they can continue from where they left off. However, the validity of an examination is three years. After this, the student must retake the last examination.<\/li>
  • Professional examinations are conducted per KMU Nursing Board, Pharmacy Council, PNC Medical faculty KPK rules, and regulations. The minimum passing marks in each subject are 50% separately, both in theory and practical. Internal evaluation is performed in all professional examinations according to KMU rules and regulations. Preparatory holidays will range between 15 to 20 days before an examination.<\/li><\/ul>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
